Summary/Abstract: The first part of this article contains terminological analysis of the readiness to migrate and the migration capabilities. The general, probable and real migration potential is characterized. The next part describes chosen results of research of the readiness to migrate of students of public universities in Poland and Germany on the example of Podkarpackie and Ostwestfalen-Lippe regions.
