Summary/Abstract: Lucian Blaga’s philosophy is based on these two concepts: word- silence. The silence is perceived like a state of humility, a recognition of helplessness of expression. From the silence appears the creation. It’s the silence of the Universe which waits for answers. The word appears from suffering, it is dangerous and involves also death. For Lucian Blaga the fear to use words is synonymous with the fear to enter in a world of creation, suffering and death. The Absolute can’t be described through words because these are insufficient. The aesthetics of silence belongs to the expressionism. From the silence and to the silence heads the final poetic sense.
