Summary/Abstract: The act of heroically resistance during the Struggle of Shkodra in months of the years1912-1913 was heroic and as much as historic one, showing to the public opinion of the Balkans and Europe that Shkodra with its surroundings was Albanian. Archival documents and Serbian press as well presented every day in its first pages those events with the title: “Shkodra in bloodshed”, about which even the English Foreign Minister, Edward Gray would declare: “the question of Shkodra is a bomb, which could explode and put on fire entire Europe, and we should allow it explode”, because there were engaged Serbian-Montenegrin invading armies in number, as many as the number of Skodra inhabitants was. Meanwhile, on the table of six ambassadors of the Greater Power was laid the fatal map of dimidiating of Ethnic Albania. However, the Struggle of Shkodra offered persuasive argument to some of the Greater Powers to insist that this town belonged to the new dimidiated state of Albania. Thus, the issue of Shkodra, was made more than any other problem, an international issue. It is stated rightfully that the heroic struggle and decisiveness of Austria-Hungary shook up Europe with the issue of Shkodra. After the Struggle of Shkodra, indeed Albania became much more known in Europe and broader, because in a dignified way, it manifested its national ego.
