NATIONAL ACTIVITY OF CC OF OAND IN SHKUP AND THE TRIAL OF LEADERS OF THIS COMMITTEE

Summary/Abstract: Albanian people in ex – Yugoslavia, although fought within antifascist front together with democratic world, because the created circumstances, remained in hands of “centre”, respectively of the Belgrade authorities. In fact its efforts and the persistent resistance of Albanian conscience in the Liberation Antifascist War (1941-1945), was concentrated especially against partition of Albanian lands, while at the end of 1944 and immediately after the War, members of OAND who were aligned inside the Albanian Democratic Army for Liberation of the Lands of Ethnic Albania. The founders of CC of OAND in Shkup mainly were intellect-uals with Medrese (madrasa), later on they were oriented in other fields of education Albanian culture. Because of Albanian national activity in military and diplomatic field, CC in Shkup was discovered by OZNA organs and at once began their imprisonment and of a greater number of activists, members of district and municipal committees of Tetovë, Gostivar, Dibër and Ohër. According to sources of that time, we can conclude that months from August till October 1946 were beginning-ending for political-military activity in the organised form of OAND and WLAL. Persecution organs of “national authority” managed to infiltrate almost inside all groups-OAND committees which also acted politically, bringing them before “peoples’ courts”. Massive imprisonments were result of infiltration of OZNA – DSSA spies inside AND committees and inside forces of the Albanian Democratic Army, like Mulla Shaipi, Nazmi Kursani etc. In discovering of members of WLAL contributed even the secret service of our “allies”, through KGB spies inside them (the case of Kim Filb and many others). These trials of OAND groups and of devoted fighters of WLAL in Albanian lands, continued until 1961. Relying on historical docume-nts and on the Albanian historiography consulted for this purpose, it can be undoubtedly concluded that the edge of the Serbian Nazi communists was directed against OAND, which was the only Movement of Resistance against realisation of Pan - Slavic and communist intentions of Tito’s policy. The leaders of this Movement, were liquidated physically and politically, they were jailed and sentenced draconically with 10-20 years imprisonment, some of them were shot and some others, because of continuous terror, were forced to emigrate (escape) outside ex-Yugoslavia.
