Summary/Abstract: Inclusion of children with developmental disabilities into regular schools is a challenge of modern upbringing and education. Inclusive education requires the creation of changes in the educational system so that the system would be suitable for the educational needs of each student. This education begins with the idea that all students are capable of learning and contributing to school activities once they are provided with the appropriate understanding and support from all subjects of the teaching process, as well as society as a whole. The research we conducted aimed to examine elementary school teachers' attitudes about the inclusion of children with developmental disabilities in regular classes. The research sample consisted of 173 primary school teachers in the area of Travnik municipality. The results showed teachers support inclusion but believe that mainstream schools are still not adapted for children with developmental disabilities. It is necessary to ensure the continuous education of teachers For successful inclusion and to provide experts with an educationalrehabilitation profile as well as suitable teaching aids for teaching children with developmental disabilities.
