Summary/Abstract: The prevention of the usage of the financial system for money laundering purposes includes the definitive area of the so-called "Black" and "White" Hawala transactions. The present article summarizes the author's views in defining "Black" and "White" Hawala transactions as a securitized problem and gives some options for its de-securitization in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
