Short Description
The Security and Defense Scientific journal is the first scientific publication of the Vasil Levski National Military University, published in 2022. The journal is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic publication with a scientific and scientific-educational character. Its purpose is to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and results of interdisciplinary theoretical-methodological and scientific-applied research on modern aspects of military affairs, science and technology in the field of security and defense and related problems. The journal is aimed at a wide range of readers - researchers, specialists from practice, trainees, students, doctoral students and everyone who is interested in the scientific research problems presented in it.
The Security and Defense Scientific journal creates a discussion environment for the exchange of scientific ideas and results of scientific research with importance, significance and usefulness in the field of security and defense, as well as related scientific research. In two books a year, the results of scientific research by representatives of academic circles are published, articles on various significant and current problems with a theoretical, analytical or empirical focus on subjects related to security policy, with important economic, military, social and other problems having relation to security and defense. The journal is open to authors external to the university (Bulgarian and foreign), whose materials correspond to the thematic orientation and the accepted requirements for publication. In order to ensure access to a wider circle of authors and readers among the international scientific community, the policy of the journal allows the published materials to be in Bulgarian or English.
