The concept "labour power" as a term in legislation and legal doctrine

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the content of the term “labour power” and compares it with other related concepts. The term “labour power” is key to labour law and is essential to understanding some of the basic institutions of this branch of law – employment capacity, employment relationship and employment agreement. The critical normative analysis, as well as the conclusions and generalizations drawn, will enrich legal doctrine and as recommendations will serve to the legislator in future improvements of the legal framework. The present study was developed in the framework of the author's participation in a national research project NPI No. 54 of 2021 on “Digitalization in agribusiness: impact on the labour power”.
