Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of cultural tightness and transformational leadership on organizational silence. It is aimed to determine the direction and level of the relations between the variables. In the research, a questionnaire was applied to 174 employees who were determined by convenience sampling method on employees working in a state economic enterprise in Bandırma district of Balıkesir province. The collected data were subjected to frequency, reliability, normality, correlation and regression analysis. The data were analyzed with a package program. As a result of the analysis; transformational leadership did not have a significant effect on organizational silence. It has been determined that cultural tightness has a significant effect on organizational silence. The fact that the variables discussed in the scope of the research were not considered together is important and original in terms of contributing to fill the gap in the literature.
