Summary/Abstract: The language class as a place of training and interaction has been under scrutiny by language researchers and specialists in teaching methodology for years. This article aims at providing some insights into the typical organizational modes of didactic interaction, which have been classified into seven general lesson types based on the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing), and three system frameworks (Present-Practice-Produce, Teach-Test-Teach and Text -based). More precisely, we will briefly discuss the sequence of didactic activities for each of the three main system frameworks mentioned above.
