Design of Career Development Programs

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a study of international experience in the design of career development programs in countries with high-developed economy and education systems. The principles and stages of development of the programs are analyzed. An emphasis is placed on competency-based career development programs. It is discussed the national frameworks of these countries that are the result of large-scale and long-term studies of international teams. Career development programs in the UK are presented.
