Summary/Abstract: The dynamic changes in the society and in the labor market as well as the new technologies require new attitudes towards the career development, the informed career planning and the development of skills for managing it. This article presents an analysis of the state of the career development problem in higher education in our country. There are presented methods and tools for career development and career planning, experimented and applied with different target groups of students and pedagogical specialists for the duration of more than ten years.
