Graduate Practice – An important Step for Acquisition of Professional Competence of Radiology Students

Summary/Abstract: Graduate practice is one of the main organizational forms for practical training of students from medical universities and colleges. It gives students a chance to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired, to consolidate and develop the acquired practical skills and habits and prepare them for full realization as future health professionals. In this paper we present the results of our local study of this issue in relation to the requirements to properly plan, organize, conduct and report graduate practice of students enrolled in the subject "X-ray laboratory" in Medical College - Varna, with an emphasis on monitoring and evaluation of their individual work to acquire professional competence.
