Exoticism or pop-culture? Paratexts of translations of the most recent crime story from Latin America

Summary/Abstract: By analyzing publishing paratexts of the translations of selected novels belonging to the mainstream called neopolicial latinoamericano, the article draws attention to the change in the reception of Latin American literature in Poland that has occurred in recent years and shows its various relations to the literary tradition of the boom and to the pop culture.
