Worker and rural correspondents: estimation from the positions of intelligentsia studies (on the materials of Khakassia and Mountain Altay)

Summary/Abstract: The article shows the formation and development of the movement of worker and rural correspondents in Khakassia and Mountain Altay, the peculi-arities of social composition of its participants are shown. The author esti-mates the movement from the positions of intelligentsia studies: the degree, the main motives and results of intelligentsia representatives’ participation in the movement are defined; the characteristics of the main groups of corre-spondents-intellectuals are given, the reasons of changes in their activity and attitude to the cooperation with mass media in different periods of 1920—1980-s are shown. The author shows the movement as a sphere and stimulus of intelligentsia’s formation in the national autonomies of the South Siberia
