Summary/Abstract: This article debates on the dimension in which Romanian movies were originally aimed for educating the new man, particularly starting with the ideological debates around the year of 1968, treating the dispose of political indifference in the cinematographic industry. Thus, the hypothesis of the research is that the Romanian movie was not regarded anymore in terms of art. On the contrary, it turned to be more and more „scientifically” scrutinized and used as teaching material in schools, namely in the History and Tutoring classes, seeking in this way the popularization of the rewritten historiography. During this whole process, the accent would be placed on the antagonistic relationship between Communism (seen as a good, infallible regime) and any other kind of political regime (implicitly noxious), reaching even that point in which the political gains of any other prior regimes were completely denied.
