«1989». The Romanian political documentary and „the social construction of happiness”. The heyday of the Communist Party

Summary/Abstract: This article deliberates over the concept of “social construction of happiness”. Starting from some theories concerning totalitarianism, the hypothesis of the research is that the concept of “social construction of happiness” was transladed in the Romanian case through the “political documentary”, an efficient instrument of communist propaganda.
