Summary/Abstract: With current remote work trends, it becomes worth understanding and rethinking how to manage other managers. The process will start with analysing and improving their communication, making it evolve in step with e-environment challenges. Even if one were to work from home with all the right strategies for managers’ management, those would be functional for side-by-side interactions in an office, as they were initially designed to operate. It is one thing to watch managers in action and see where they might need coaching, and it is totally another thing to try and decipher how both a manager and their entire team are performing only based on messages and occasional video calls. Setting the right expectations is required when comparing working managers versus managing managers, in the altered context of newly emerging issues in e-communication for the public space.
