Summary/Abstract: Abstract. As a rule, children and adolescents more often and more easily may become victims of crime, for the simple reason that they do not have the full capacity to defend themselves, thus possessing an increased degree of victimhood. At the same time, criminologists found a long time ago that the victim’s behavior can serve as an impetus, a provocative situation that can lead to the initiation of a criminal act. Regarding minors, a great infl uence belongs not only to their victim behavior, but also to the psychological characteristics, which, unlike the adult analogous of victimogenic situations, determine a higher degree of victim vulnerability. Clarifi cation of the specifi c features of the personality of minors and their behavior are of particular importance for solving the priority problems related to the prevention of crimes that may be committed in relation to them
