Summary/Abstract: This study is part of a class research and experiment which states that all skills are and should be taught as integrated. Literature can and should be used as a resource for teaching integrated skills and language contents, for its formative use (both as a means of developing integrated skills, language contents and functions and as a cultural, intellectual moulding instrument). This part of the study has used the short story “Youth” by Joseph Conrad as a resource text. All the activities have been built up on the base of Conrad’s respective story.
