Summary/Abstract: This study based on a class research and experiment states that all skills are and should be taught as integrated, alongside with integrated language contents and functions. Literature can and should be used as a resource for teaching integrated skills and language contents, for its formative use (both as a means of developing integrated skills, language contents and functions and as a cultural, intellectual moulding instrument). The study has used four stories by Joseph Conrad as resource texts: “Youth”, “Typhoon”, “The Duel”, “The Warrior’s Soul”. All the activities have been built up on the base of Conrad’s respective stories.
