Summary/Abstract: In this study, we briefly highlight the mission of the religion teacher in Romanian schools, in particular, but also of teachers, in general, in a difficult period. For almost two years since the debut of the SARS CoV-2 virus, the pre-university education system has undergone many changes and went through unexpected challenges. In this regard, we recall that teachers have been forced to find solutions, and many have looked after them in the IT field, given that public institutions have applied various restrictions, without creating a viable plan for the education system. However, we hope that the generations of students who have had the misfortune to go through this tough period, will be able to recover and achieve good results. These can be achieved through hard work and sustained effort from those who have the power to make strategic decisions in this regard.
