Summary/Abstract: The article presents the characteristic and diagnostic criteria of the conduct disorders according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. The determinant factors and long-term risks of conduct disorders are exposed. Regarding counseling for children with conduct disorders, there are recommended the aspects necessary to be known at the beginning of counseling, the stages and the algorithm of the psychological intervention. Also, the article explains some useful psychological techniques in counseling children with conduct disorders.
