Summary/Abstract: The writer Dan Rădulescu, expert in organic chemistry, in the domain of the spirans, spent his childhood in the region of Prahova, in the parental home from Câmpulung-Muscel and he passed away in the beautiful Sinaia resort. The details of his life, almost entirely, can be found in the book of Memoirs, volume elaborated at his friend’s request, at the venerable age of eighty years. The author oscillates between the belief in Fate, named ‘’the Great Weaver”, and the trust in science, because he is a peasant at the origins, but he also proves an academic background which dominates his entire life. Although his memories are impregnated by nostalgy and melancholy, the volume is full of objectivy, sincerity and lucidity.
