Summary/Abstract: In today’s world many companies fell the need to move from traditional safety into a more human cantered approach, which is clearly defined by Social Psychology of Risk. The pioneering methodology was invented to support personhood, care for ethics and promote an appropriate culture of an organization. The following article explains the fundamentals of Social Psychology of Risk, as well as underlines its differences from the traditional safety. It also provides a brief case study of how such approach works in a multicultural paper company which having its bases in thirty different countries, invited 27.000 of its employees onto a journey of understanding, recognising the need for change and learning to implement the new approach towards Risk and Safety.
