Summary/Abstract: RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: Recognition of program assumptions and directional guidelines of Jesuit education. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: What program assumptions determine the directions of activity of Jesuit schools in the twenty-first century? Desk Research Method. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The review article was created as a result of the analysis of the content of individual parts of the monograph published in English Jesuit Schools: A Living Tradition in the 21st Century. An ongoing Exercise of Discernment. The Polish version of this book is available on the Polish publishing market. The monograph connects the past (tradition) with the present. This is consistent with the assumptions of Polish social pedagogy. RESEARCH RESULTS: The analysis of the content of the reviewed book allows us to conclude that the richness of the tradition of Jesuit education is present in the curriculum assumptions of contemporary Jesuit schools. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: The monograph is an excellent methodical tool dedicated to teachers of Jesuit schools.
