Summary/Abstract: This article examined quantitatively and qualitatively, the evolution of the Internet theme in the journal, Przegląd Edukacyjny between 1994 and 2020. Through the use of the browse, bibliographic and bibliometrics methods, it was found that 50 articles in the journal address Internet issues, and the journal’s first issue about the internet was written in 2000. The issue was introduced by Prof. Bogusław Śliwerski who wrote about the need for the rational use of the Internet in education and its influence on the shape of the school of the future. In the second half of the first decade of this century, the topic of the Internet was most often discussed in the already published Issues 14 to 17, and these comprised 90% of the 50 articles found. The articles covered the following (in order of the most frequently appearing issues): projects, educational competitions, advantages of using the Internet in the classroom, threats related to the use of the Internet, e-learning, m-learning, news from the world of science, copyrights, social media and rules of creating and editing Internet messages.
