Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this research was to examine the role, the function and the impact of the cyberspace on the construction of the knowledge about the cultural heritage, in a context of (re)defining the national identity, namely were examined the effects of the discourse of the Kajgana forum related to cultural heritage. The research was based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the discussions in the Macedonian Kajgana forum on two topics: Who and how wants to cause an identity crisis? and In honor of the day of St. Clement of Ohrid. It was concluded that the identity derives from the values that a community believes in and thus motivates the actions of that community and that Climent Ohridski is a cult figure, deeply connected to modern Macedonians and their sense of identity.
