Summary/Abstract: The article relies on the findings stemming from the analyses of the in-depth interviews conducted in July 2022 with a selected group of Polish residents. Its main research question is whether the experience of the pandemic period has influenced the respondents’ current ways of food provisioning, e.g. buying food, managing food stocks, and organizing their pantries. These activities are analysed as social practices, specifically, as a part of ‘food practices’. The article demonstrates that some of the respondents have revised their previous ways of food provisioning (e.g. limiting food consumption, adjusting it to current needs, or paying attention to some of its moral-ethical aspects). After the pandemic, some of the respondents declare their willingness to have a stockpile of food in case of an unexpected situation, such as illness. The experience gained during the pandemic is now being used by the respondents to cope with the effects of inflation.
