Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to present the accumulated knowledge concerning "presumption of non-guilt" as one of the most important categories of criminal justice. The article traces the development of the concept in history. Part of the text is devoted to the positions maintained by the Bulgarian criminal justice doctrine.
