The comparison of the quality of groupings of poviats of west Pomeranian Voivodeship in terms of tourism attractiveness

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this article is to compare the quality of groupings of poviats of West Pomeranian Voivodeship in terms of their tourism attractiveness, using: different methods of selection of diagnostic variables (parametric method, the method of inverse ma-trix) and classical and positional taxonomic indicators of development. In the study there were used diagnostic variables characterizing the tourist valorization, the level of tourism development, transport accessibility and the level of environmental pollution. The quality of groupings procedures was checked by calculating indicators of homogeneity, heterogeneity and clustering accuracy.
