The estimation results of the binary models of tourists trips of the pensioners and annuitants households in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of logit and probit models estimation of tourists trips of pensioners and annuitants households. The set of the potential describing variables includes variables characterizing the economic situation of households, socio-demographic variables and variables characterizing tourists equipment of households. The information base of the research were statistical data on tourists activity of pensioners and annuitants households. These data were taken from the survey conducted in 2009 by the Central Statistical Office ”Tourism and leisure in the household” and they were associated with the results of family budget.
