Summary/Abstract: The labor market is constantly evolving following the development of economies and technology. New opportunities for customers to purchase services and products – related to the development and functioning of mobile applications – result in the emergence of new strategies of professional activity. Their examples include platform work and freelancing, which are characterized by high flexibility in the provision of services, but also job insecurity and precarious working conditions. The article characterizes platform workers and freelancers, presents the results of research in the field of precariousness, psychosocial working conditions and quality of life of these people, and also gives tips for persons employed under new forms of work.
