Summary/Abstract: Nichita Stănescu's lyricism (1933-1983) is doubled by a lucid "poetic" consciousness, the meditations on the condition of creation and the creator being a constant preoccupation of the author of the Necuvintelor. The phenomenon is illustrated both by numerous poems of programmatic value and by a series of volumes of essays such as Cartea de recitire (1972), Respirări (1982), Antimetafizica (1985),Amintiri din prezent (1985) sau Fiziologia poeziei (1990).
