Summary/Abstract: The article aims to demonstrate the possibility of the existence of a pattern - at the symbolic level - in the analysis of characters from Fantasy literature for children, music and film. In the fantasy literature of the 20th century, the image of the child was a complex and varied one. It was influenced by the various literary currents and the social and cultural changes of this period. In this article, I will explore how the image of the child has evolved in 20th century fantasy literature, highlighting some key examples from this field, and illustrate some similarities between Fantasy and a certain musical genre.
