Summary/Abstract: The article aims to identify several spatial categories, starting from the term "proxemics", introduced in cultural anthropology by E.T. Hall. We have tried to lay the anthropologist's frame, on relevant fragments from the 20th century children's fantasy literature. Also, starting from the classicized concept of the "chronotope", we have detected a novel typology of it, turning to books that deal with the thematics of the search for the alternative savior and, above all, are classified, we believe erroneously, under the label of "children's literature", thus minimizing its importance and placing it in the category of the marginal.
