Summary/Abstract: It is certain that the St. Roch parish in Rząśnia existed in 1403. The first wooden church survived until the 16th century. It was later replaced by a new church that stood until 1862. In 1918, father Wacław Kokowski became the vicar of the parish. The inventory of the assets of the church and the vicarage in Rząśnia was made in connection with his appointment to this parish by the dean accompanied by the members of the church’s supervisory body. The inventory presents the condition of the church built in the years 1862-1866 and contains lists of fittings, vessels, and robes, as well as the parish books and church equipment, with a brief description of cemeteries, the vicarage, farm buildings, and the estate.
