THE QUALIFICATION AND DECLARATION OF THE KULAKS –SAVAGE FORM OF THE CLASS STRUGGLE IN THE VILLAGE (1949-1960)

Summary/Abstract: The new communist regime established after the liberation of the country had as main objective the liquidation of the wealthy bourgeois-landowning classes, which by means of the undertaken socialist reforms were liquidated, in general, by the end of the year 1947. But in the village existed still wealthy peasants who became an obstacle for the creation of the socialist economy. The communist leadership issued laws even for the liquidation of wealthy peasants, qualifying then as kulaks. To this end was issued the law “On the measures for the limitation of the kulaks” in which were given the main characteristics of the kulak, serving as a basis for their qualification and declaration in the village.
