Scope of the jurisdiction of the Polish Arbitration Court concerning disciplinary disputes in sport

Summary/Abstract: Polish sports associations make decisions of a diverse legal nature (e.g., disciplinary, statutory, organizational). However, a special appeal procedure, described in the provisions of the Act on Sport, applies only to disciplinary decisions. The aim of this article is a scientific reflection on the issue of cognition of the Polish Court of Arbitration for Sport, which is an appeal instance in disciplinary cases proceeded by Polish sports associations. To adopt a proper solution, there is a need to identify the differences between disciplinary decisions and other decisions made by the Polish sports associations.
