The design of social transformation

Summary/Abstract: The text comprises a report on the "Infrastructures for Regeneration, Design, Collaborative finance and New conomic media towards a living economy" seminar held in Brno (30 May 2023), which addressed the potential for re-orienting the economic system towards greater sustainability and justice via the application of alternative models of financing and production employing innovative procedures and technologies. A number of top experts presented topics at the seminar that have only recently found their way into the public debate in the Czech Republic on the organisation of society. The main positive outcomes of the event concerned the theme of combining new technologies with proven community management methods and the connection of alternative economic theories with the practical tools required for their implementation.
