Summary/Abstract: Sağırlı is a village in the Bayat district of Afyonkarahisar province. It is 42 km from Afyonkarahisar city center and 15 km from Bayat districtcenter. The economy of a villagedepends on agriculture and husbandry. Sağırlı village is a small nomadic village. Weaving is very important for the nomads who are constantly migrating, carrying their houses and all the goods they use. The nomad sliving in Sağırlı village used the wool of the sheep they raised in their weaving. They applied the techniques of dense motif cicim and zili weaving, which is a very difficult technique, in their mats, saddlebags, prayer rug sand pillows. Çetinceviz, mountainent wined, curling, eye, duma, eysiranlı, kirkitli, divorcing women, cowpiss, yantırı, forkcross/bridecry, foot, goose foot grass, nail are motifs used in weaving. A wide variety of colors were used in the weavings. The weft thread sand warp thread sare the same color and are made of wool material. Wool and acrylic yarns are used in pattern yarns. In order to prevent the woven pillows and saddle bags from being disassembled, a "Kurdish" stitch is applied with a needle. When the surfaces chemes of the weaving sare examined, although motifs arranged in shift edaxes are seen in most samples, different arrangements are also seen. In this study, it is aimed to examine 14 weaving samples made with cicim and zili weaving technique, which were determined in Sağırlı village of Bayat district, in terms of technique, material used, color, motif and composition.
