Summary/Abstract: Music plays a significant role in the development of children of preschool age and becomes part of the experience at the earliest age, it has multiple effects on physical and mental abilities and develops an aesthetic attitude towards art. The subject of this research is the examination of teachers' readiness to use folk musical instruments and Orff's instrumentarium in working with preschool children. The goal of the research is to determine the competence of teachers for the application of folk musical instruments and Orff's instrumentation in daily work with preschool children on the example of preschool institutions on the territory of the municipality of Stara Pazova, in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Republic of Serbia).
