Summary/Abstract: The contribution evaluates a regional disparity on the labor market for the positions of Technician and Assistants for operating healthcare facilities, included in the Health and Social Care sector in the Czech Republic. The disparities are monitored in terms of analyzing wage components, employment rate and the hours worked. The aim of the paper is to find groups of regions with similar labor market characteristics for the above mentioned profession. Cluster analysis is used to identify the differences between the regions observed on the basis of selected macroeconomic indicators. Subsequently, a cluster of regions showing the same aspects is created. Secondary data for the analysis were obtained from the Czech Statistical Office and the Average Earnings Information System. The year monitored is 2016. The results are subsequently compared with the year 2011.
