Summary/Abstract: Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS) can be used not only from aspects of public administration but also for confrontation of territory production performance. For this purpose the analysis of productivity of particular production factor and also general productivity was performed. At analysis of NUTS2 region performance it was discovered that the economic growth is pulled especially by total productivity of factors (TFP), except the Moravian-Silesian Region, where capital growth has dominant signification. Furthermore, it was determined that the regions where the among - year productivity of capital drops there are the same regions with above - average growth of the average capital - labour ratio. The main reason can be especially the structure of implemented investments. Mentioned procedure of analysis is possible to be used also at lower territorial units (NUTS3) or contrariwise on higher (NUTS1).
