Summary/Abstract: The objective of the article is to present selected aspects of digital hygiene as well as methods and tools that can help with time management in a virtual space, especially among students and the professionally active. Methods. For the sake purpose of the article the authors have conducted a throughout analysis of the literature addressing the concept of digital hygiene and time management in a virtual space. Results. As a result of the research, it can be concluded that several users are unaware of the risks associated with technology and are also incapable of efficient time management. The article demonstrates tools and methods which can be applied to improve one’s digital hygiene and enhance their one’s skills as far as managing the time in a virtual space, such as blocking distractions, priority setting and time management, as well as breaks and physical activity.
