Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the street naming in the Radość neighbourhood in the Wawer district of Warsaw. It draws attention to a very specific timing of naming streets in this part of the capital. The names result from the changes introduced as late as the second half of the 20th century. 82 contemporary names, some of them changed, are semantically analysed.
