FOR ANOTHER DIVISION OF THE ALBANIAN VERBS INTO CLASSES

Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author brings forth a history of the efforts made by Albanian and foreign grammarians to classify the verbs of this language. Examining these efforts, the author explains why the grammatical tradition has failed to resolve this problem in a convincig and stable manner, and tries to legitimate his efforts by providding a new scheme of classification, which, according to him, resolves the question in a definite manner.
