Summary/Abstract: At the present time, which is typical for its dynamism and rapid developmenttendencies, the teaching profession and its self-reflection are also undergoing constantchanges. Changes and innovations accompany all development of society, i.e. alsodevelopment within the teaching profession.The main goal of the article is to provide and analyze information on the professionaland self-reflective development of the teaching profession. In the contribution, we use asystemic confrontation based on the processing of the researched area of pedagogicalperception of the issue in question. We adhere to the analytical-synthetic method, while theanalysis of professional sources, not only from the field of pedagogy, is important in order toobtain content suitable for the issue we are discussing.
