Summary/Abstract: The change of the can. 230 § 1 of the CIC made by pope Francis in 2021, even if seems to be not significant, brings some very important effects. The access of the women to the minise- ries of the Church concerns not only the problem of its theological reasons but it creates also a practical challenge, especially in the Polish context. This practical side of the access of the women to the ministeries in the Catholic Church is the axis of this paper.
