On dating of Roman Statuary

Summary/Abstract: The article treats the method of comparing the works of Roman ideal sculpture and those of the portraits of the age, seeking ultimately that ideal sculpture to be dated on grounds of the dating of portrait sculpture. The applicability of the method is shown through a sculpture of Hera found in the shrine at the village of Kopilovtsi, region of Kyustendil.
